Fu Ning｜New Life and Congratulations—KGI Bank, Songshan Branch

Fu Ning will hold a solo exhibition “New Life and Congratulations” at KGI Bank Songshan Branch, featuring the artist’s recent works. The artist depicts a variety of scenes and elements that she perceives in daily life, such as the convex mirror next to the street tree, the flower bush under a telegraph pole, or a motorcycle parked on the red line. By connecting the traces of collage and overlay with bold and vivid brushstrokes, intense colors, and smooth and bright lines, the audience can feel how the colors and brushstrokes flow around the various objects in the painting, allowing the audience to read what she is feeling when she looks at the pictures. Each of the images, which seem ordinary at first glance but strike a chord with the audience, will emerge from the artist's similar life experience at the moment of gazing.

Fu Ning was born in Taoyuan, Taiwan in 1995 and graduated from Taipei National University of the Arts, MFA Painting Program. Her works have been exhibited in many places, such as Angolan, French, Kuandu Museum, Taiwan, and New York, USA, etc. In addition, there are many awards record, including the First Prize of Glare Project, the Finalist of 2021 Northern Art Contemporary Creation Award, the Visual Creation’s Finalist of The 9th Hongmei New Talent Award, etc.
